19 months

I love this age so much.

Lately Jack..
* says ball, dog, sit, cheese, champ, car, da-doom (afton), and several other words but only on command
* makes monkey sounds (oo oo) and elephant sound/gesture
* points to many body parts including patella and clavicle (i taught those for his grandpa's amusement)
* answers "who made you" with a whole hearted "Gaaaw!" and then answers "what else did God make" with a loud "Gaww" and arms spread way up over his head
* obsessed with being outside, loves sticks, rocks and dirt more than anything else, will transfer water from one bucket to another for hour(s)
* loves ari + afton dearly
* loves to eat. cries for food, points to food, obsesses over snacks.
* sits for a few books now
* watches a few minutes of TV in bed with Dad on the days I work
* has a bouncing run where his legs fly out in all directions.
* seems to understand when someone is laughing at him and gets very upset
* favorite non-stick/dirt toy: car carrier?
* denies my request for kisses 9/10 times as a way of teasing
* constant runny nose/cough. just started him on an antihistamine... we'll see.
* my favorite is getting him up from bed/naptimes. He is so cuddly and falls dead weight on my shoulder.
* favorite illicit activity: playing in mom and dad's bathtub.
* resurgence of paci love around 15 months (when we moved to new house) and would drag his blankie around the house like Linus all day
